The Little Italy Official Neighborhood Tour commences at the corner of Baxter and Canal Streets. It lasts 90 minutes, and throughout this informative walking tour you’ll encounter historic sites of tremendous importance to this vibrant neighborhood. You’ll also learn about the sights and sounds that inspired legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese, and pass filming locations for classic movies like The Godfather and Mean Streets

The Chinatown Official Neighborhood Tour is a 90-minute walking tour that grants participants substantial insight into how this remarkable neighborhood has evolved over the course of the past 200 years. The tour begins with a stroll through what was once the fabled Five Points neighborhood—immortalized in Scorsese’s movie Gangs of New York, which starred the inimitable Daniel Day-Lewis. It then passes through Kimlau Square, making stops at Confucius Plaza and Doyers Street, before ending at the home of the Chinatown Consolidated Benevolent Association.

The most popular tour offered by Tommy’s New York is their Catacombs by Candlelight Tour. This 90-minute walking tour takes you deep into the historic Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Little Italy. Along the way you’ll learn about the many famous New Yorkers interred there, and be able to access portions of the attraction typically unavailable to the public. These include two exterior walled cemeteries and a narthex situated underneath the sanctuary.
