You purchase the pass for however many days you desire, and during that time period you can use your All-Inclusive Pass at as many attractions as you want. The New York All-Inclusive is accepted at over 90 of New York City’s top attractions.

The New York All-Inclusive Pass is designed to work best with the Go City app. This free app can be downloaded on your smartphone. Once you’ve done that, simply input your All-Inclusive Pass confirmation number to access your All-Inclusive Pass in a handy digital format right there you on your mobile device.

You have two full years to activate your New York All-Inclusive Pass after you purchase it. Your New York All-Inclusive Pass is considered active from the moment you initially use it at your first attraction. Once it’s active, the pass is valid for whatever number of consecutive days you’ve paid for.

What Good on a New York All-Inclusive Pass

Your New York All-Inclusive Pass serves as your one single ticket to each and every attraction you visit during your time in New York City. This means you don’t need to worry about keeping track of, say, ten different tickets for ten different attractions. All you need is your New York All-Inclusive Pass, and since it can be downloaded straight to your smartphone, you’ll never stress about losing paper tickets again.

Conversely, Go City’s New York All-Inclusive Pass is flexible enough that, if you are the sort of person who would prefer to work with a paper copy of your pass, you can opt for that. Simply click on the link in your confirmation e-mail and print out your pass at home before embarking on your adventure.

New York City’s most popular attractions can get very busy and crowded at times, especially during peak seasons. As a result, on occasion your New York All-Inclusive Pass will help you avoid waiting in long lines to buy tickets or enter a venue. Since you’ll have purchased your New York All-Inclusive Pass in advance, and already downloaded it straight to your smartphone, you’ll be able to skip these long admission lines. All you’ll have to do is approach the entrance gate and get your pass scanned.

Making the most of your trip to New York City is a rewarding experience, no doubt. However, it can also make for a very expensive experience. That’s another reason why the New York All-Inclusive Pass is such a handy resource. You pay one flat rate up front for your pass, which provides you a reassuring amount of cost certainty as you set about budgeting for your dream New York City trip.

What Could Get Better?

Once you purchase your New York All-Inclusive Pass, you will be unable to upgrade it. If you find yourself having such a blast visiting New York City that you decide you’d rather have a 5-day All-Inclusive Pass than the 3-day All-Inclusive Pass you already purchased, you won’t be able to add time to your existing pass. Some visitors would like this level of flexibility to be an option, but as of right now, it’s not.

As many attractions as there are available to you as a Go City customer, the New York All-Inclusive Pass is not comprehensive. It is missing certain high-end attractions like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and like any attraction pass on the market today, its offerings are always subject to change. Most passholders don’t find this to be a dealbreaker, but it can be frustrating to find that an attraction you were excited to visit with your All-Inclusive Pass has become unavailable.

Get Your Money’s Worth with a New York All-Inclusive Pass

Simply put, the general rule of thumb for maximizing your savings with any all-inclusive attraction pass is to get there and see and do as much as possible in the time your pass is valid, and the New York All-Inclusive Pass is no exception. While you never want to sightsee so exhuastively that you overwhelm yourself and forget to have a good time, your New York All-Inclusive Pass will become all that much better a value if you’re cramming your days full of activities while in New York City.

If you’re looking for a bit of guidance, Go City’s official website features some sample itineraries worth looking at. For instance, they’ve designed a 3-day itinerary that could save you as much as 41% on ticket expenses. They arrive at this impressive number by adding up the out-of-pocket price of standard admission at the 9 attractions they suggest visiting during those 3 days—nearly $375 per person. Compare that to the $220 cost of a 3-day New York All-Inclusive Pass, and you’re talking over $150 in savings straightaway.

Go City’s website frequently has the New York All-Inclusive Pass available for sale at an additional discount. Purchasing your New York All-Inclusive Pass at a time when it’s available at a discounted price due to a promotion can help you save that extra bit of money.

New York All-Inclusive Pass Insider Tips

Several popular attractions covered by the New York All-Inclusive Pass require you to make advance reservations. At present, these include attractions like the 9/11 Museum Workshop: Hands-On 9/11 Tour, the Best of Brooklyn Walking Tour in Williamsburg, the Broadway & Times Square Walking Tour, and the Catacombs by Candlelight Tour, just to name a few. Many attractions that require advance reservations will request a credit card number to ensure the booking. Rest assured, you won’t be charged anything additional (unless you fail to show up for the reservation). Its best to a little planning ahead as many of the walking tours and bicycle tours only happen on certain days of the week at specific times.

Other attractions may have their own idiosyncratic policies worth noting. For instance, On Location Tours’ popular Central Park TV & Movie Sites Walking Tour wants you to reserve your tour spot in advance, but they’ll charge holders of the New York All-Inclusive Pass a $10 fee if they book their spot more than 24 hours ahead of time. When in doubt, check the official website of the attraction you want to visit as you plan your outing. This way you’ll have all the latest information at your disposal.
